About The Position

Coughlin GM of Chillicothe is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Writer/Advisor. The role works with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance, recommend services and repairs, estimate repair costs, explain estimates, and schedule appointments. The successful candidate helps meet dealership standards for repair and order production, maintains customer satisfaction and a clean, safe work area, and follows company policies and safeguards. Requirements

Previous experience in the automotive or customer service industries.
A strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
An organized and friendly personality.
Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles.
Professional personal appearance.
Team-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Work with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance and advise customers on necessary and recommended services.
Offer additional services and repairs to customers.
Estimate the cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
Enter itemized estimates on service orders and explain estimates to customers.
Schedule customer appointments.
Meet dealership standards for repair and order production.
Maintain CSI at or above company standards.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Participate in required training.
Follow safeguards rules and regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
