About The Position

Coughlin Ford of Circleville is seeking an experienced Service Writer/Advisor to work with customers and technicians to identify vehicle maintenance needs, explain recommended services and repair estimates, and schedule appointments. The role supports the dealership’s service operations by meeting standards for repair and order production, maintaining customer satisfaction, and following company policies and safety rules. Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries.
• Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.

• Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles.

• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance and advise customers on necessary and recommended services.
• Offer additional services and repairs to customers.
• Estimate the cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Enter itemized estimates on service orders and explain estimates to customers.
• Schedule appointments with customers.
• Meet the dealership’s standards for repair and order production.
• Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Participate in required training.
• Follow Safeguards rules and regulations and comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
