About The Position

Autobahn is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to support its luxury automotive brands. The technician performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to dealership and manufacturer standards, helping deliver the performance, safety, and ownership experience expected by clients. The role involves working with automotive systems and advanced diagnostic tools, inspecting vehicles, communicating with Service Advisors and teammates, and verifying repair quality. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, with a desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee.
• Luxury, European, or franchise dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair-order work efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air-conditioning, and drivability systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and teammates to support a seamless client experience.
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance.
• Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability.
