About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a BMW Technician at Wyoming Valley BMW. The Service Technician/Mechanic performs vehicle repairs and maintenance assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by effectively diagnosing vehicles and building customer trust and confidence in Napleton. The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is affiliated with more than 25 vehicle brands and over 50 dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

• Valid state safety and state emissions credentials are required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication effectively.
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
