About The Position

Kelly BMW is hiring an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications. The role involves diagnosing vehicle systems, testing vehicles and components with diagnostic tools, completing warranty repairs, and coordinating with Service Advisors about additional service needs and repair estimates. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a technician.
• ASE certifications.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• BMW experience preferred.
• European vehicle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about additional service needs and provide estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
