About The Position

Kelly BMW is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership procedures and manufacturer specifications. The role includes working on automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. The technician works with the Service Advisor to communicate additional service needs and provide estimated repair times. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a technician.
• ASE certifications.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• BMW experience preferred.
• European vehicle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed about additional service needs.
• Estimate the time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
