About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring an experienced automotive technician for its new service facility at Frederick Ford in Seaford, Delaware. The role offers a top flat-rate pay plan, a sign-on bonus for qualified technicians, steady year-round work, modern diagnostic equipment, paid factory and technical training, and opportunities for career advancement. The position has a five-day work week with no Sundays. Uniforms are provided.

The technician diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns, performs maintenance and repair services, uses diagnostic tools and technology, completes repair orders and vehicle inspections, communicates with service advisors and parts personnel, and maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Five or more years of automotive technician experience is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Five or more years of automotive technician experience preferred.
