About The Position
Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic at Frederick Ford. Requirements
- At least 1 year of automotive maintenance or repair experience; the posting headline specifies 1–2 years of automotive repair experience.
- Motivated, dependable, and customer-focused team player.
- Desire to learn and grow into a certified automotive technician.
- Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with minimal points.
Nice To Haves
- Brake-service experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
- Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
- Assist with brake services; prior brake-service experience is a plus but is not required.
- Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
