Automotive Service Technician - Ford
About The Position
Ciocca Ford Flemington is hiring an energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join its team. The role offers an opportunity to serve customers and the community while pursuing financial and career goals. Technicians test-drive vehicles, use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test vehicle components and systems, diagnose and repair automotive systems, estimate the time required for additional repairs, and complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. The position offers hourly flat-rate pay guaranteed to be 10% above the current rate, training, and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- ASE Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Estimate the time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
