Automotive Mobile Service Technician - FORD
About The Position
Ciocca Ford of York is hiring an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated mobile service technician to join its team. The technician travels to customer sites to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles, including performing routine mobile services, diagnostics, and recall work. The role involves testing vehicles and components with diagnostic tools and service equipment, estimating the time required for additional repairs, completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications, and working safely and efficiently. The position offers hourly flat-rate pay and is full-time.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of service technician experience.
- PA inspection and emission license.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certification.
Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites to diagnose, maintain, and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Perform mobile service repairs, including filter replacement, engine diagnostics, recalls, and minor services at the customer's location.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform all tasks safely and efficiently.
