About The Position

Vern Eide GM is hiring a Reconditioning Service Technician to recondition incoming trade vehicles and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and light diagnostics. The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime may be available but is not required. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, with the potential to move to flat rate. The technician works in a climate-controlled facility with new hoists and benches, and the position does not involve flat-rate work initially. Requirements

• Previous technician experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have a can-do attitude and be a positive team player.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming trade vehicles and recondition them by changing oil, fluids, filters, and wiper blades, and making basic repairs identified during the initial inspection.
• Perform light mechanical repairs, including brakes, tires, alignments, battery installations, fuel pumps, axle seals, and oil cooler lines.
• Perform light diagnostic work as needed.
