About The Position

The Ray Auto Group is seeking organized and detail-oriented Service Advisors for its Chevrolet stores in Fox Lake. Service Advisors greet customers, document customer and vehicle information, assess and recommend maintenance, prepare repair estimates, monitor vehicle progress, and keep customers informed. They also verify that final invoices match the work performed and explain completed work and charges to customers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a service advisory role.
• A positive attitude.
• A high-volume mentality.
• A focus on customer satisfaction (CSI).
• Dealership and automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly document vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on the vehicle’s age, mileage, and history.
• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Establish a follow-up time.
• Monitor each vehicle’s progress throughout the day and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.
