About The Position

Rockwall Hyundai is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to support customers and dealership operations onsite in Rockwall, Texas. The role coordinates with technicians to identify needed repairs and maintenance, estimates costs and completion times, explains findings and recommendations to customers, and negotiates service agreements. The advisor also helps ensure service work is completed efficiently and maintains accurate customer, agreement, and repair-order records. Compensation is commission-based and performance-based. The position requires open availability for a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, and reports to the Service Manager. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in an automotive service advisor role or related field.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and industry standards.
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and other software applications.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with technicians to identify necessary repairs and maintenance, and communicate findings to customers.
Estimate repair and maintenance costs and time requirements, and provide quotes to customers.
Advise customers on recommended repairs and maintenance, and negotiate service agreements.
Coordinate with technicians to support timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service agreements, and repair orders.
