About The Position

Group 1 Automotive is seeking customer-focused, motivated, and professional Automotive Service Advisors to join its service teams at several North Austin-area dealerships. The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, building customer relationships, providing guidance, and helping customers maintain their vehicles. The role requires delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment while meeting customer satisfaction and sales performance goals.

Requirements

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience is required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong sales aptitude and ability to recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Goal-oriented approach and desire to achieve performance objectives.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Previous dealership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally and provide an outstanding service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
• Clearly communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians to support efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Review completed work with customers and explain the services performed.
• Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business.
• Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and sales performance goals.
• Demonstrate the Company's Values when interacting with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
