About The Position

Group 1 Automotive is seeking customer-focused, motivated, and professional Automotive Service Advisors for its service teams at Group1 Ford of South Austin, Group1 Kia South Austin, and Mercedes-Benz of South Austin. The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, building lasting relationships, providing trusted guidance, and helping customers maintain their vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong sales aptitude and ability to recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Goal-oriented with a desire to achieve performance objectives.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dealership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring an outstanding service experience from start to finish.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
• Communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines clearly and effectively.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Consistently meet or exceed customer satisfaction and sales performance goals.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in interactions with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
