About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Austin South location. The position pays $16 per hour and follows a consistent 40-hour-per-week schedule. The Automotive Detailer washes, cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, helping uphold high cleanliness and safety standards. Work includes vehicle preparation and safety checks, maintaining the branch’s cleanliness and appearance, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting or transporting customers when needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
Applicants under 21 must have zero moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on their driving record.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related convictions on the driving record in the past five years.
Must have at least six consecutive months of work history.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers as needed and transport customers to and from branches when required.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
