About The Position

The Automotive Service Advisor reports to the Store Manager and supports service department operations by upholding high standards of excellence and the company’s core values. The role helps create a motivated team environment and works closely with the Service Team to improve performance through hands-on involvement, team development, effective execution of store processes, and delivery of an industry-leading customer experience.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a Service Advisor/Writer role.
Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a way that ensures efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers on sales, service, customer opportunities, and adjustments.
Create a highly motivated team environment.
Supervise technicians and service personnel, plan and schedule their duties, assign work, and follow up on completion.
Coach service department teammates on operational issues.
Evaluate the performance and productivity of service department personnel.
Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, and update and restock in-house parts as needed.
Ensure store safety, including the use and maintenance of safety equipment.
Ensure equipment and hardware are properly laid out and positioned within the service department.
Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates to ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Ensure that proper inspections are conducted.
