About The Position
Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls is looking for a competent, friendly service advisor to join our established, family-owned, trusted dealership. The individual in this role would act as the point of contact for our service customers, from initial greeting to service explanation, to payment.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to explain complicated automotive concepts to customers who may not be familiar with industry terminology
- Compassionate, patient demeanor
- Problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills
Responsibilities
- Listen to the customer's description of the concerns, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
- Consult with technicians regarding appropriate service options
- Explain all service options to customers including time and cost estimates
- Provide in-depth information on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part options
- Advise customers on warranty protections and other potential cost-saving service options
- Track maintenance or repair status, complete reports on labor and cost of all services
