About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is hiring a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join its service team. The role connects customers with service excellence in a fast-paced, team-driven dealership environment. Compensation is salary plus commission/bonus, with income ranging from $50,000 to $85,000+. The position is based at Easton Honda, 6546 Ocean Gateway, MD 21601. Requirements
- Prior customer service and/or sales experience is required.
- Strong communication skills; English is required.
- Comfort using computers and learning dealership software.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Customer-focused, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience is a plus.
- Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
- Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
- Clearly communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines.
- Coordinate repair orders with technicians.
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
- Recommend additional maintenance or services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every visit.
