About The Position

DARCARS Lexus of Mount Kisco is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer. The role is responsible for presenting, consulting on, and selling automotive warranty products and repair services professionally, while following the manufacturer’s published maintenance schedules and requirements and company policy. The Service Advisor builds rapport with customers to promote satisfaction and retention. The position requires working effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service, phone, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously and obtain relevant vehicle information.
• Advise customers about vehicle care and the value of maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare and provide customers with complete and accurate repair-order estimates.
• Establish and communicate repair completion times with customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls.
• Maintain and schedule service appointments.
• Follow customer post-service follow-up procedures to encourage return visits, increase sales, and support excellent CSI.
• Follow manufacturer warranty guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct business with integrity to maintain the manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and DARCARS goals.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies for safeguarding customer, company, and manufacturer information, as well as customer vehicles and property.
• Perform other duties and follow other instructions as requested by a supervisor.
