About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager/Service Advisor is responsible for selling and promoting all products and services offered by Delta World Tire while following the company’s store standards and expectations. The role involves helping customers identify service needs, explaining recommended work, providing accurate service quotes and updates, and ensuring a satisfactory customer experience. Compensation is up to $20 per hour plus commission and bonus.

Requirements

Professional appearance and demonstrated ability to work in a process-driven environment.
Possess a valid driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Promptly greet customers professionally and courteously in person and by telephone, using the company’s standardized customer service techniques.
Listen to and document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and review service history to identify and verify service needs.
Recommend services within the appropriate level of knowledge and clearly communicate additional recommendations from automotive technicians so customers can make informed decisions.
Document all service recommendations in the customer file.
Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating an understanding of the products and related service requirements.
Provide accurate quotes, including cost and completion time, for customer-approved services and update customers on service status throughout the day.
Follow cash-out procedures, including reviewing the completed multi-point inspection and explaining applicable warranties.
Conduct follow-up calls after repairs and for declined services to ensure customer satisfaction.
Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
