About The Position

Vannoy's Tires, Inc. Tire Pros is hiring a Sales and Service Advisor to sell and promote the company’s products and services in accordance with store standards and expectations. The role includes assisting customers with automotive service needs, recommending appropriate services, explaining technician recommendations, and keeping customers informed throughout the service process. Compensation is $17–$22 per hour, with commission and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Professional appearance.
Proven ability to work in a process-driven environment.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass an MVR/background check screening.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and by telephone using the company’s customer service techniques.
Listen to and document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and review service history to identify and verify service needs.
Recommend services in accordance with the appropriate level of knowledge.
Clearly explain additional recommendations from Automotive Technicians so customers can make informed decisions, and document recommendations in customer files.
Promote appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating understanding of the products and service requirements.
Provide accurate quotes, including cost and completion time, for customer-approved services.
Update customers throughout the day on the status of their services.
Follow cash-out procedures, including reviewing the completed multi-point inspection and explaining applicable warranties.
Conduct follow-up calls after repairs and for declined services to ensure customer satisfaction.
Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
