About The Position

Shively Motors is seeking an experienced Sales / Finance Manager to lead and manage the sales team in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Ownership (President and Vice President) and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales process, including setting and achieving sales goals, growing customer retention and relationships, pricing, market research, and training and developing staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Previous experience in the auto industry
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Expert in market and pricing strategies
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and customer service software
  • Sound problem-solving, management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies, policies and procedures to facilitate target sales goals
  • Produce marketing content to encourage customer acquisition
  • Prepare and present periodic sales and activity reports to Ownership
  • Monitor customer accounts and timely collection of payments
  • Train and mentor sales representatives in acquisition and maintenance techniques
  • Manage customer service complaints and build customer loyalty
  • Monitor the performance of assigned team members and develop improvement strategies
  • Contribute to ensure that the sales team meets or exceeds all objectives
  • Analyze sales market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Remain current on industry trends and best practices
