About The Position

Monroe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Superstore, part of the family-owned Mahalak Auto Group, is hiring New and Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Associates. Sales consultants help customers with their automotive needs, guide them through the vehicle selection and sales process, and work with sales management to meet goals.

Requirements

• Automotive dealership sales experience is required.
• Superior communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent follow-through and closing skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Motivation to earn top commission pay.
• Must pass a background test and drug screening before employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide customers as they appear on the lot.
• Create and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
• Achieve and maintain Chrysler certification through product knowledge and training classes.
• Demonstrate vehicle features on the lot and on the road to enhance the sales process.
• Assist customers with completing sales applications and advise them about possible financing options.
• Follow up on sales leads from sources including phone calls, walk-ins, newspaper ads, and referrals.
• Work with Sales Managers to ensure sales goals are met.
• Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly.
