About The Position

Jim Taylor Auto Group is looking for a full-time Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in building genuine customer relationships, values professionalism, and wants to be part of a team that is committed to doing right by every guest who walks through our doors. Requirements

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a quality customer experience
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work 5 days a week including Saturdays, with one off day during the week and one Saturday off a month
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers throughout the buying process
  • Listen carefully to identify customer needs and recommend the right vehicle solutions
  • Present vehicles, features, and financing options clearly, confidently, and professionally
  • Stay current on product knowledge, inventory, industry trends, and technology
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Communicate effectively with sales managers, finance, and team members
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals
  • Maintain an organized workflow and accurate customer records in the CRM
  • Take pride in delivering an honest, professional, and positive buying experience
  • Contribute to a productive, team-focused sales department
