Requirements

Minimum of one year of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
Organized with excellent follow-up abilities to maintain client contact before and after sales.
Current valid driver’s license is required.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct a needs analysis to understand their vehicle preferences, including make, type, and features.
Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom and during test drives.
Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate pricing, taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, and financing or lease terms.
Perform visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
Complete paperwork accurately and arrange vehicle delivery and registration.
Deliver vehicles to customers and familiarize them with vehicle features and functions.
Attend required training sessions and department meetings to stay updated on products and procedures.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
