About The Position

Join Paragon Honda as an Automotive Sales Consultant. Paragon Honda is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Woodside, NY. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $200,000 per year, along with a full benefits package. This is a full-time role where you will contribute to delivering excellent customer experiences by selling quality, reliable, and attractive vehicles.

Requirements

Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent education and training.
Strong sales skills with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Effective organizational and follow-up skills to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers on the sales floor and assess their vehicle preferences and needs.
Explain vehicle features and demonstrate their operation both in the showroom and during test drives.
Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using the dealership database.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate pricing, including taxes, trade-in values, fees, discounts, financing, and lease terms.
Perform visual inspections while managing the vehicle inventory on the lot.
Complete necessary paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
Deliver vehicles to customers and provide orientation on features and maintenance.
Participate in training sessions and department meetings as required.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance to support team success.
