About The Position

The NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist provides and sources parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers. The role uses automotive parts knowledge to assist NAPA team members and answer customer questions, while delivering outstanding customer service and working with management and technicians in a fast-paced environment. The specialist asks questions to research and source the correct parts and informs customers about parts availability.

This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys helping fleet customers with parts and service needs and who has automotive parts experience or a willingness to learn. The position requires working on or around an airport in a shop environment. NAPA offers training, ongoing development, and opportunities for career growth and promotion from within.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn about automotive parts.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work on or around an airport in a shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or trade school courses or degree.
• Background in or passion for the automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.
• Experience with airport ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric approach with internal and external customers.
• ASE certifications.

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions.
• Provide customer service and interact with management and technicians.

• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers about parts availability.
