About The Position

NAPA is hiring an Automotive Parts Specialist to provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers. The role uses parts knowledge to assist NAPA team members, answer customer questions, and deliver outstanding service while interacting with management and technicians in a fast-paced shop environment. The specialist asks questions to research and source the correct parts and informs customers about parts availability. A background or knowledge of automotive parts is preferred, though a willingness to learn is also accepted. The role offers opportunities to develop parts expertise and pursue other careers within NAPA.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn about auto parts.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or trade school courses or degree.
• Background in or passion for the automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.
• Experience with airport ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, or inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric approach with external and internal customers.
• ASE certifications.
