About The Position

Our dealerships are seeking a motivated, full-time Parts Counter Person (also referred to as a Parts Advisor) to join the service team. This role supports retail customers and technicians, handles parts ordering and inventory tasks, and maintains an orderly work area while providing a superior level of customer service. The position offers a positive working environment, training, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Duties may change to meet business and organizational needs.

Requirements

• One to two years of prior automotive parts experience from a retail parts outlet or dealership setting.
• Computer literacy.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record.
• Customer-oriented, self-motivated team player.

• GM experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and bill parts.
• Maintain proper storage of parts and stock shelves.
• Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.
• Support parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.
• Pick up and deliver parts.
• Keep the department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.
• Maintain a superior level of customer service.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
