About The Position

AAT powered by Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide service to customers. The position applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports users of the Autel scanning unit by phone, answers technical questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The role requires diagnostic technician experience, suitable tools, physical activity, and effective customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Currently have, or be willing to obtain, the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to reach below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
• Be able to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
• Provide personable, friendly service to internal and external customers.
