About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide service to customers. The technician applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports use of the Autel scanning unit, and researches vehicle technology issues to help explain and resolve them. Duties include answering inbound and outbound phone calls and addressing technical questions about scanning procedures. Compensation is listed as up to $4.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Be able to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions relating to Autel unit scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
