About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide high-quality customer service. The technician applies technical knowledge to support customers using the Autel scanning unit, responds to inbound and outbound calls, answers questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The role requires at least two years of prior diagnostic technician experience and the ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Employees must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions and pass required pre-employment screenings, including background checks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Must have or be willing to obtain the proper tools needed to complete assigned duties.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States with no restrictions.
• Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
• Provide personable and friendly service to internal and external customers.
