About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide top-tier customer service. The technician applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports users of the Autel scanning unit by phone, answers questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Currently have, or be willing to obtain, the proper tools to complete assigned duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
• Provide personable, friendly service to internal and external customers.
