About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide top-tier customer service. The role involves applying technical knowledge to assist customers, supporting users of the Autel scanning unit by phone, answering questions about scanning procedures, and researching vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The technician must have or be willing to obtain the proper tools needed to perform assigned duties.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to successfully complete assigned job duties.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to reach below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
• Able to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Able to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions relating to Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
