About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide service to customers. The technician applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports users of the Autel scanning unit, answers technical questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The role can pay up to $30.00 per flag hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Able to reach below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues and explain and resolve them.
• Perform other assigned all-purpose duties.
