About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide customer service and technical support. The role applies automotive technical knowledge to assist customers, respond to inbound and outbound calls about the Autel scanning unit, answer questions about scanning procedures, and research vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. Compensation is up to $30.00 per flag hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Must currently have, or be willing to obtain, the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions related to Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
