About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a talented, dedicated, and quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide service to customers. The technician applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports users of the Autel scanning unit by phone, answers questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The role pays up to $30.00 per flag hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a Diagnostic Technician.
• Have or be willing to obtain the tools needed to perform assigned job duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to reach below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
• Read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
