About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide technical support to customers. The role applies technical knowledge to assist customers, handles inbound and outbound calls in support of the Autel scanning unit, answers questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. Compensation is up to $30.00 per flag hour. The position requires at least two years of diagnostic technician experience and the ability to obtain or already possess the tools needed for assigned duties.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
Currently possess, or be willing to obtain, the proper tools to successfully complete assigned job duties.
Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
Be at least 21 years old.
Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Be able to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

I-CAR certification.
ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
Answer technical questions about Autel scanning procedures.
Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
Complete assigned job duties using appropriate tools.
Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
