About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a talented, dedicated, and quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide high-quality customer service. The technician applies technical knowledge to assist customers, answers inbound and outbound calls in support of the Autel scanning unit, responds to technical questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Have or be willing to obtain the proper tools needed to complete assigned job duties.
• Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Work through competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions relating to Autel scanning procedures.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
