About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models, completes accurate and honest courtesy inspections, and works collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns efficiently and deliver quality results. The role is based in a climate-controlled shop in Round Rock. CBA provides a consistent workload, training, live technician support, and access to its Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work toward long-term career development.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds; work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces; use hand tools with dexterity; walk or stand for most of the workday; drive manual-transmission vehicles; and navigate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using technical knowledge and skills.
• Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
• Communicate guest concerns effectively while working closely with the service department.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
• Meet or exceed hourly goals.
