About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat General Service Automotive Technician with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The role performs maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments, and works with the service department to address vehicle concerns. The position is located at 23385 W. Yuma Road, Buckeye, Arizona 85326. The shop is climate-controlled, and the location is closed on weekends.

Requirements

Current driver’s license.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and other general services.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Ensure preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous-waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know requirements.
Assist with housekeeping functions as directed by management.
Communicate effectively with the service department about the extent of damage or malfunctions on guests’ vehicles.
Follow and promote standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
