About The Position
The Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager is responsible for finance and insurance activities in an automotive retail environment. This role focuses on compliance, product knowledge, generating finance income, closing deals, and providing strong customer service. The position also involves training new talent.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of F&I experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Contract new business, sell F&I products, and close deals.
- Generate finance income on all sold customers.
- Check and verify paperwork for cash, finance, or loan transactions.
- Contract or collect all money at closing.
- Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of leases.
- Assist in acquiring approval from lenders.
- Understand lender programs and rate options.
- Solicit extended warranty sales.
- Handle cancellations for extended service contracts, GAP policies, and related products.
