About The Position
The Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager will lead finance and insurance activities, with a strong focus on compliance, product knowledge, training new talent, and customer service. The role includes arranging financing and insurance products, verifying transaction paperwork, working with lenders, and managing related cancellations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of F&I experience.
Responsibilities
- Contract new business, sell F&I products, and close deals.
- Generate finance income on all sold customers.
- Check and verify paperwork for cash, finance, or loan transactions.
- Contract or collect all money at closing.
- Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of leases.
- Assist in acquiring approval from lenders.
- Understand programs and rate options offered by lenders.
- Solicit extended warranty sales.
- Handle cancellations for extended service contracts, GAP policies, and related products.
- Train new talent.
- Deliver strong customer service while maintaining focus on compliance and product knowledge.
