About The Position

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. BMW of Tigard is hiring a Finance Consultant to support its finance and insurance (F&I) operation. The role helps customers obtain financing, payment protection, and other appropriate vehicle-related products and services; reviews customer credit information and applications; and supports customer satisfaction, sales consultant training, and dealership management. This commission-eligible position offers average earnings of $10,000–$20,000 per month, with earning potential based on personal performance.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience as an automotive finance manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a successful finance and insurance operation.
Ensure buyers are offered financing, payment protection, and other carried products and services appropriate for the vehicle purchased.
Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one-pay contracts and outstanding titles.
Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Process, review, and analyze customer credit reports and credit history.
Run customer credit reports containing detailed credit history and confidential consumer data.
Assess the likelihood that a bank will accept a customer’s credit application based on their credit history.
Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers’ policies.
Train and manage sales consultants on F&I products and related paperwork.
Maintain industry knowledge and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
Assist desk managers as necessary.
