About The Position

BMW of Barrington, part of Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring an enthusiastic, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to help customers find the right BMW, deliver a premium buying experience, and build lasting relationships in a fast-paced dealership environment. The role involves guiding customers from their initial inquiry through purchase and vehicle delivery while maintaining current knowledge of BMW vehicles, financing options, incentives, and market trends. Compensation is performance-based and includes commission, with no cap on commissions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.
• Present BMW models, features, and technology through vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Guide customers from initial inquiry through purchase and vehicle delivery.
• Follow up with customers and build relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BMW vehicles, financing options, incentives, and market trends.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals.
• Help maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized showroom.
