About The Position
Lia Nissan Glens Falls is hiring an entry-level Express/Lube Automotive Technician for its service department. The position offers opportunities for growth and mentorship from senior-level technicians. Employees receive training with current technologies and equipment, including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. No experience is necessary, although service technician experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive service technician experience.
- State Inspection certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
- Perform oil and filter services, tire rotations, wiper and blade replacements, air filter and cabin filter replacements, and digital multi-point inspections.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about any additional service needed and provide an estimate of the time required for additional repairs.
