About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Automotive Detailer at Harrisburg International Airport, 2 Terminal Drive, Middletown, PA 17057. The starting pay is $17 per hour for a 25-hour workweek, with an additional $1 per hour for hours worked from Saturday at 12:00 a.m. through Monday at 3:00 a.m. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The role is responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. Detailers follow cleanliness and safety protocols, identify and report vehicle issues, and help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the work area and branch location. The position may also involve assisting and transporting customers.

Requirements

• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record within the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and possibly transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
• Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
