About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to prepare rental vehicles at its Harrisburg, Pennsylvania location. The starting pay is $15.50 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek, increasing to $16 per hour after six consecutive months of employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet the company's cleanliness and safety standards before customer rentals. The detailer also helps maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the branch and may assist or transport customers as needed.

Requirements

Have a current and valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record within the past three years.
Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past three years.
Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and possibly transport them to and from branch locations.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming; and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
