About The Position

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles at its Inspection Center in Brewerton, New York. Available positions include Detailer, Lot Attendant, Photobooth Associate, and Inspection Associate. Detailers wash vehicles, clean interiors, and buff exteriors. Lot Attendants move vehicles between departments in the Inspection Center. Photobooth Associates photograph vehicles for customer-facing listings, and Inspection Associates examine vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify imperfections or defects. The role offers two shift options: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., or Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Employees work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to heat and cold. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.
Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

Detail vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing (Detailer).
Move vehicles between departments in the Inspection Center (Lot Attendant).
Photograph vehicles for customer-facing listings (Photobooth Associate).
Inspect vehicle interiors and exteriors and accurately identify imperfections or defects (Inspection Associate).
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
